I Saw an Angel This Morning (Because I Almost Didn't Get Out of Bed)
When Did You Last See an Angel? A Massage Therapist's Guide to Finding Magic (and Balance)

My eyes popped open. Still dark outside—well, it was 7:30, and my dog gets fed at seven.
You know what my alarm clock was.
I knew I had to get out of bed, but it was so cozy.
The thought of everything waiting for me felt overwhelming.
Getting back into my exercise routine after vacation.
Eating healthy again.
Attending to my business.
Re-establishing all those good habits that somehow disappeared while I was away.
It seemed like a lot of work—even though it's everything I love to do.
Then something popped into my head: "You always see something magical when you're out in nature."
That was the motivation I needed.
I got out of bed, and I am SO thankful I did.
The Struggle is Real (Even on Day Two)

Monday morning I showed up.
Worked out on schedule with my online trainer, Marion Jones. Felt amazing.
Tuesday morning? The struggle was back.
I was going to be a BNI visitor plus an early morning meeting, but I wanted to keep my routine going.
A YouTube Pilates video with Move with Nicole popped up—25 minutes, intermediate level.
I said to myself: "I can do 25 minutes."
And I did it.
Afterward? I felt incredible. Just like I knew I would.
Here's what I can't figure out: Why is it such a struggle to do what makes me feel good? What are these blocks that make me resist the very things I enjoy?
Can you relate?
Fellow Massage Therapists: When Was the Last Time You Saw an Angel?
How often do you get out into nature?
And when you do, are you really looking for those magical moments?
We spend our days giving to others—healing bodies, holding space, relieving pain.
But what are we missing in our own lives while we scroll mindlessly, binge another series, or fall into whatever our individual time-wasting habit is?
I get it.
After a day of back-to-back clients, your body is tired.
Coming back from vacation and getting into a routine feels impossible.
Your bed is cozy.
The couch is calling.
Self-care feels like one more thing on the list.
But here's the truth: Self-care isn't just bubble baths and massage exchanges.
It's getting outside.
Moving your body.
Feeding yourself real food.
Clearing your head so you can show up fully for your clients—and for yourself.
Events I'm Not Going to Miss (And Neither Should You):

There are some incredible events coming up that I'm not going to miss.
I'm not going to miss them because I'm either running them or I'm part of the team—events designed for people like us who give so much but need to refill our own cups.
Selfish Saturday (November 22) - Because sometimes you need permission to put yourself first (plus CE credits for LMT's)
Mind Capture Boot Camp (November 6 & 7) - Where breakthroughs happen and connections are made
MFR Essentials - (December 6 & 7) Deepen your skills and renew your passion for this work (CE credits for LMT's)
I'd love to share these moments with you.
Because you deserve to see angels too.
